Big Beautiful was fashioned as an instrumental soundtrack with beats, a listening experience with repetitive themes throughout the majority of the tracks.

This was my first collaboration with producer, songwriter and vocalist — and friend — Patrick Sporrer. (We would later again collaborate again on NINE.) He brought some darkness and beauty and lovely vocals to two tracks: Cloud of Consciousness and Leprous Hearts and Shaded Souls.

If you’re a fan of Star Trek and composer Jerry Goldsmith, you’ll for sure recognize the sounds on Cloud of Consciousness...I had to put them on an album somewhere as he and film scores in general are a huge influence.
